 Photographer's Toolbox: Tips and Tools for Student Photographers (Two Day Photography Workshop)
Main Library, Olympic Room & StoryLab
Tuesday, August 21, 10:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday, August 22, 10:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Professional Photographer, Jesse Michener, will demonstrate photography basics, including the use of lines, color, light & shadow, contrast and textures to create appealing photographs that effectively capture a strong sense of place. Following a presentation of the instructor’s own work and technique, teens will explore and photograph neighborhood locations in downtown and Wright Park. During the second day, teens will learn how to use photo editing software to tweak their photos and then print them. Photos will be showcased on a StoryLab photography blog. Registration Required. Lunch Provided. Ages 13 - 20.
