Do you travel a lot?

Maybe you go on excursions not too far from home? Whether you spend entire summers in the South of France, take day trips to small towns in the northwest, explore the various neighborhoods of Tacoma, check out a new flick at the cinema once a week, and/or treat yourself to a new restaurant a few times a month, you probably have a collection of memorabilia sitting around the house that you’ve been meaning to do something with.

Why not document your unique experiences in a travel diary?! Travel diaries are the perfect way to reflect on your past experiences and record your feelings. Travel diaries are fun to look back on years later, and are a precious keepsake you can pass on to generations to come. So, bring in your maps, itinerary, photos, ticket stubs, etc. to create a beautiful, creative and stylish memento that records and displays your noteworthy memories. Recommended for adults.

Participants may bring any of the following
  • Collage Paper, just about any type of paper will do
  • Fabric, gauze, netting, screening, etc.
  • Elements/Embellishments that relate to trips/vacations/travel.

The following are suggestions for different types of collectables:
  • Sewing supplies: ribbon, thread, buttons, zippers, yarn
  • Office supplies: tags, labels, clips, staples
  • Jewelry/beads: charms, beads, wire, elastic etc
  • Found objects: keys, watch parts, shells, leaves etc
  • Words/Pictures: from magazines, handwritten letters/poems, old photos, maps, plane tickets.

All Attendants should bring a sharp pair of scissors and a BOX LUNCH.
